Opportunity AI is a vibrant, growing community of over 200 professionals from more than 100 philanthropies committed to fostering economic mobility in the age of AI.
AI is transforming the labor market faster than any single funder can track alone, and the needs it raises are too large and fast-moving for any one organization to address. Opportunity AI aims to close that gap by helping funders understand how AI is reshaping jobs and skills and helping the organizations they support build the AI capacity to adapt and thrive.
We do this by providing members with technical knowledge from leading-edge experts, facilitating new multi-donor projects, and developing community among funders and practitioners.
We are energetic, nimble, and member-driven. When funders act together, we can drive collective action to ensure the AI transition works for those who need it most.
Our primary focus areas include:
Collaborative Action — We convene funders to co-create and co-fund impactful projects, leveraging our broad network of more than 200 professionals at over 100 philanthropic entities.
Knowledge Sharing — Through monthly funder roundtables, technical trainings, curated content, and a growing resource library, we keep members on the leading edge of how AI is affecting jobs, skills, and the organizations working to expand opportunity.
Building Community — We connect funders with one another and with leading practitioners.
